Thursfields Solicitors along with Worcestershire Cricket will be running two risk roadshows on April 3 at Halesowen CC and April 5 at Worcestershire County Cricket Club. The roadshows are targeted at club chairmen, committee members and will provide valuable insight to understand the risks involved and help ensure your club structure is fit for the future.
The way a club is legally structured can have a significant impact on club leaders, both on their club and them personally. Get it right, and a club can be run effectively and may benefit financially. Get it wrong, and there could be significant financial and other implications for a club and potentially its members.
Roadshow 1: Mon 3rd April: Halesowen CC, 7pm – 9pm
Roadshow 2: Weds 5th April: Worcestershire County Cricket Club, 7pm – 9pm
The Risk Roadshow will concentrate on two main areas of risk:-
Personal Liability – identifying where Committee Members are exposed to potential personal liability and suggesting how risk can be mitigated; and
Land/Property – are the Committee Members doing all that they can to help safeguard the Land/Property for future use for recreational cricket?
Personal Liability - Jenny Smith – 20 minutes

About Route 39
Whatever the occasion maybe, we have the perfect solution: a sophisticated charity dinner, gracefully compered, a silent auction of memorabilia at a sporting dinner or a pub quiz full of brain-wracking, head scratching fun, complete with entertaining bar games, to name but a few.
Our clients have chatted with Gazza, shouted ‘higher’, and ‘lower’, scored 10 points, and no points, avoided mouse traps, found the missing link, laughed with Ricky Tomlinson, eaten, drunk, giggled, cheered, been excited, entertained and treated like VIPs.
